I can’t believe that it has already been two weeks since the Outreachy Internship began. It has been a lot of fun working with the OpenStack team. From getting lost in immense volumes of documentation to the meetings held on IRC each Thursday at 1500UTC to the one on one sessions with Goutham and Victoria (my OpenStack mentors). What a wild ride it has been , of course with a couple of bumps along the way.
Since I am working on implementing Unified Limits in Manila , I was given the simple task of reading about Unified Limits in Keystone. It is very precise .However I couldn’t understand anything on the first few reads π.I decided to read it over and over again just to ensure that I get more familiar with the content. After each read , it became easier to understand the concept of limits and how they are enforced in Keystone.Whatever questions I had, I wrote them down and got to ask them during our weekly meetup with Goutham. He answered those that he could then .Those that he couldn’t he wrote them down and promised to answer later after reading about Unified Limits in Keystone again π².
That is when it hit me.I was not alone at all! If the project team lead for Manila can refer to the documentation and answer questions later , it is okay , everybody struggles .Thanks Goutham for this valuable lesson.
