F-Droid at IPFS Camp 2024

Open Source + Web3 = Magic

IPFS Camp 2024 took place on July 11-13 in Brussels, Belgium. I got the opportunity to represent F-Droid at the event. As compared to the previous IPFS Camp – IPFS Camp 2022 – this was smaller, more intimate, had a lot more beer, good chocolate and numerous peeing statues. 🙂

It is not a complete Brussels tour if you haven’t seen the 3 Pis – Seneca, Circa AD 63

During IPFS camp, different teams showcased how they had implemented and integrated IPFS and its tooling in their solutions. The showcases focused on during the conference were Public Records and Human Rights, Gaming & Streaming, Decentralized Apps and Publishing, Climate Resilience and IPFS and Libp2p Day.

I got to present the work that demonstrated how IPFS is being implemented by the F-Droid team under the Public Records and Human Rights track. This track was led by Lindsay Walker.
The recording of the work done by the F-Droid team is below. Have a look.

If you are interested in all that happened during IPFS camp, you can check out the videos below.
